First Austria. Well that was mostly German speaking anyway.

Then came the Sudetenland which was really German speaking Czechoslovakia.  Then  the rest of Czechoslovakia. When all this happened France and England allowed it to happen.

Finally when Germany invaded Poland that is when the British Prime Minister (Chamberlain) threw in the towel and handed the Government to Winston Churchill who had been the most vocal foe of Hitler all this time.

Land for Peace came to an end.

Millions of people ultimately lost their lives. Land for peace bought perhaps a year.
