Hitler’s rise to power happened mainly due to his incredible speaking abilities. He joined the nazi party, was a great spokesperson, gained leadership of the party, became chancellor, got permission to make any law for a few months. He then made all other political parties illegal, which essentially made him a dictator.

With complete control over Germany, he directed the German anger from WW1 towards the Jews, told the German people he would return Germany to its former glory by reuniting german people, and invaded Czechoslovakia. He then invaded Poland which caused Britain to declare war on Germany.
