World history about the congress of vienna

The Congress of Vienna was a summit of ambassadors from the numerous European States that occurred from November 1814 until June 1815. The objective of the meeting was to negotiate and produce a long term peace plan that would ensure the political stability throughout Europe after the events of the French Revolutionary War and subsequent Napoleonic Wars.

The Confederation of Rhine was a group of 16 German states who decided to side with Napoleon after he defeated Austria and Russia in the battle of Austerlitz in 1805. This association of states would last from 1806 until 1813 when it dissolved as a product of the negotiations in the Congress of Vienna.
