the rate of of Islamic extremists in the middle east  are increasing due to leaders convincing angry people to join them. the US bombed several cities with civilians in them. this is a reason people are angry at the us specifically. if someone had a home or relative destroyed or died in a bombing (unnecessarily) carried out by the us people will try to rebel against the US for meddling where we don't belong. also some people in the middle east don't have access to the knowledge the US does so they are not Informed well and can be convinced more easily
