no in the 19th century the Radical Republicans and the Liberal Republicans were not considered oxymoron because they were still part of big government and reforms.  Today they would be considered as an oxymoron because the Republicans are now a party of a small government

This would not have been an oxymoron during this time period. Radical Republicans were those that were not willing to reach a compromise with the South during Reconstruction. They were radicals because they were committed to their principles. On the other hand, Liberal Republicans were those that wanted to return to a purer exercise of liberalism.

Nowadays, the terms are likely to be considered an oxymoron because we normally associate the term "liberal" with the Democratic Party, which is the other major party in the United States.

biological/genetic factors means they were born or predisposed to have something. nothing can really change it, and you can't really do much to "fix" it. it isn't something learned

these are the biological factors:

adrian is relatively tall and he is on the basketball team

(adrian can't ever stop being tall or force himself to be tall. likely one or both of his parents are tall as well and they passed on the tall gene. he probably does basketball because he is tall)

the rest are environmental/cultural factors. these are things that are taught to us. for example, cynthia wasn't born saving pocket money, her family most likely taught her this (environmental factor)
