At the time of world war ii, how did the vision of the postwar world held by the united states differ from that of the soviets and the british?

Objectives of  roosevelt were more global than those posed by churchill; for roosevelt's military victories were  the key to us supremacy over the british empire and the establishment of world peace organization, churchill instead focused on ensuring british control of the seas, the maintenance of the british empire and the struggle for the independence of the countries of central and eastern europe as buffer between the proceeds of the ussr and the uk. in the opinion of americans, stalin seemed to be a potential ally in achieving their own goals, but according to the uk stalin posed a threat to the set objectives. when the soviet union took most of the countries of central and eastern europe, stalin was in a privileged position and two western leaders competed for his attention. the differences between roosevelt and churchill led to a number of separate transactions with the soviet union. in october 1944, churchill went to moscow and agreed to the division of the southern-east europe into spheres of influence at yalta but roosevelt and stalin signed a separate agreement about asia and rejected the proposal of the british prime minister on poland and the question of  compensation
