Why is it problematic to translate the quran from arabic to another language

The Quran is the Central religious text of Islam like the Bible is for Christians. The Quran is the finest work in classical Arabic literature.  

This piece of literature is written in a high symbolic and classical form of the Arabic language, so translating it requires a deep understanding of the symbols and its interpretation and ability to reflect those meanings into the language to be translated.
