How slavery changed the world is that it has let the people who had suffered to be free now from the 20th century. Back then white people used to hate black people for their skin and used them as slaves to work around their houses and farms. If they have done something wrong, they would get whipped or killed. But now that it is the 21th century, black people are free to roam and have their own homes and crops and life. Some white people still hate black because of their skin but that doesn't matter because if our skin is different we are all the same.
