What effect did "separate but equal "have on education in many parts of the country?

The separate was noticed but equal was not heard  so schools were separate  was good but blacks schools were the worst.

"Separate but equal" was the constitutional law doctrine according which racial segregation did not violate the "equal protection" as guaranteed in the 14th amendment.
