Patrick Henry's second speech in the Virginia Convention, on March 23, 1775, is his most famous one. Usually referred as the "give me liberty or give me death" speech, it is basically a call-to-arms. He argues that there is no point in trying to maintain the relationship with the British crown anymore, all of the requests the colonies made have been ignored.
