How did life change for women and african american citizens during and after world war ii? explain whether these changes had a positive or negative effect for each group of citizens?

Due to the war needing soldiers more African Americans were allowed to fight giving them an extra right and a job. This not only helped the economy but also helped people to accept African Americans as an equal race which is a positive thing. The same thing happened for women. During that time women were working on getting more rights and them fighting in the war helped give them an extra hand to play. This was also a positive thing.
