1- THE DELIAN LEAGUE WAS FORMED (477 BC):

This organization was a maritime military alliance, created and controlled at first by the Athenian statesman Aristides (who wrote the statutes and set them in motion), in 477 BC, at the end of the Medical Wars, to be able to defend against possible and new attacks of the Persians.
