What civilization relied heavily on hunting and fishing to gather food?

Algonquian relied heavily on hunting and fishing to gather food. The Algonquian Native Americans are the most widespread tribe. They inhabited mostly on Canadian area. The word Algonquian means to a place for spearing eels and fishes. Since the Northern weather is not good for growing crops, the Algonquian relocated their clans from one place to another to hunt, gather foods and fishing.
