My friend gets these thought were she's stuck in a place she was before but not actually there. for example she would be in her room alone but then feel as if she was stuck in thought of a place she was in the past like school. or she had these thoughts like she didn't want her pets to get out so when she would leave her house she would have these thoughts of repetitively trying to keep her pets in the house. these things happen to me sometimes, is this some form of problem like a personal issue?

It is a way the body controls/ tells how it is feeling, if she is sitting in her room and it shows that she is trying to keep her pets inside, then it could be telling her that she loves them, if she is sitting in her room and goes back to school in her mind without trying to, then it could be trying to figure out what to do if she is getting bullied in school, or having a hard time in school. i hope this helps, if you have more questions and if she needs to talk, then my email is, ellica021402 at gmail .com I hope this helps!!!
