The abnormally high pressure inside the eye is called glaucoma. Glaucoma is a group of eye diseases. It is usually resulting to loss of eye vision and blindness. Glaucoma is most commonly known to target elders and it is known to be a silent thief as one who suffered from glaucoma can have sudden loss of eye sight or total blindness. It can be cured by surgery. The increased pressure in the eyes is the most common caused of this eye disease. Glaucoma can be fatal and needs special health attention and special care.
