In our metabolic system, we have that there are anabolic reactions (reactions that absorb energy/create molecules) and catabolic reactions (reactions that release energy usually, break down molecules). We have that the first 2 reactions are clearly catabolic and of the most important ones in our organism. The 3rd is catabolic too since we have a breakdown; the 4th is the correct choice since new, bigger molecules are created (and this also needs energy).
