Syphilis is an STI, ie a sexually transmitted infection. This means that the infection is transmitted mainly through condomless sexual intercourse. It can also be transmitted from mother to baby during pregnancy. It is caused by the bacteria Treponema pallidum.

This disease is divided into three stages of infection, the first stage being the simplest to treat but is characterized by the emergence of a hard base ulcerated wound that usually arises at the site of infection. The wound is painless, yet produces a highly infectious fluid that can infect other people.

The second stage is represented by major damage characterized by small wounds on the skin (especially the palms) and mucous membranes. Any surface of the body can be affected by these lesions that carry a large amount of bacteria and are highly infectious. Other symptoms include low fever and malaise.

The third stage is represented by severe symptoms. At this stage, the disease can cause paralysis, seizures, heart disease, organ failure. Injuries at this stage can cause extensive tissue damage, leading to perforation of the roof of the mouth and impairing speech. They can also cause disfigurement and disability and can be fatal. It is common for the nervous and cardiovascular systems to be impaired.

though, as as minerals are for us, they can also be very dangerous if one were to consume too many. if you were to take too much minerals, or even vitamins, you could experience nausea and diarrhea. all trace minerals can be very toxxic at high levels of consumption. taking too much of some minerals will result in hair loss! but this goes with almost everything in life, taking too much of something that is good, will eventually be bad for you.

my intake in minerals was normal. there really is no need to improve, i am healthy, and i am experiencing no nausea or diarrhea. i am as healthy as a bee. ☺ (sorry that i cannot you with the mineral intake)

what i have learned so far is that taking too much something can be very bad for you. taking too many minerals or vitamins, or anything healthy in general, can result in nausea and diarrhea, as well as hair loss. it would be a good idea to track what you put into your body, good or bad.
