Why do major burn victims become hypothermic at room temperature?

Because the skin controls your body temp and if your skin is burned , it messes with the temp making your body colder which leads them to become hypothermic

Our skin is where we sense things in the environment. There are a few possibilities with a major burn victim. They can be left with raw skin, which is more sensitive to anything. Or, since the skin has been through high temperatures, it's used to those high temperatures. The brain thinks room temperature is freezing when it's been through major burns. Vote me Brainliest!
