When it comes to health-related issues such as depression, child abuse, domestic violence, drug abuse, or disease, in what ways do people exercise willful blindness? Why would they want to?

Many people understand what they are going through isn’t right or that they shouldn’t be feeling this way, but with child abuse violence or drug abuse, people will tend to not tell anybody and they will not get care. People with depression will tend to try and push through it on their own rather than trying to get help with an adult or therapist.
