The Women’s Sports Foundation also found that female athletes in high school are 80% less likely to become pregnant compared to those who don't play sports. Some of the  psychological benefits are that kids who play sports have increased success in the classroom. Athletes have also been found to have a higher grade point average, standardized test scores, lower dropout rates, better attendance, and an increased chance of attending college. These psychological don't only apply to school, but in the workplace too. A survey of employees at the Vice President level showed that 95% of them played a sport in high school.
