Characters in movies and video games often display risk taking behaviors. how does this affect violence in everyday life ?

Okay thinking off the basic of my head. 
When little kids watch movies where they see their idol or hero doing something crazy that could get them killed, what do they believe ? They tend to monitor this behavior and believe that this is the way they are supposed to act.
Certain games that have violence people can lose a sense of morality and believe in thats the way life should be. Too much is a bad thing, take in consideration of many shootings and or IRL gta
