Many teens suffer from mental disorders. today there are a number of treatment options available to these teens. imagine that one of your friends is taking medication for a mental disorder, but they don't like the side effects of the drug, so they plan on not taking it anymore without telling their parents or doctors. what should you do?

discontinuing a medication can have more side affects than the medication itself, keep her on the medication, tell her parents and her doctor and they will help ease her off the medication and then they can try new ones.
