Read the following scenarios. Decide whether the actions taken in the scenario
were ethical or not. If you decide that the decision(s) were not ethical, explain
what you think made them unethical.
1. Jim wants to be friends with a group of boys at his school. In order to be
friends with them, they ask him to steal a video game from another boy at
school. Jim steals the game.
2. Roshawn really wants to go to a concert on Friday night. The concert will
run past his curfew and because of that, his mother has told him he cannot
go. He decides to tell his mother he is going to a movie instead and goes to
the concert anyway. He leaves the concert so he can be home in time for
his curfew
3. Lydia is working on a group project and some of her group members are
making fun of another girl in the group who is from another country. Lydia
decides to be quiet and focus on her schoolwork. She ignores the rest of
her group
4. Sonya overhears one of her friends tell another friend that he has brought a
gun to school in his car. Sonya is not sure why her friend has brought a gun
to school and is scared about what might happen, Sonya decides to tell an
administrator about the gun
5. Tony has not had time to do his math homework. He decides to borrow his
friend's math homework and copies the answers during lunch
