Week 3 Assignment This week you were introduced to vital statistics (https://www. cdc. gov/nchs/nvss/index. htm) and read about their importance as indicators of our nation's health. For this assignment look at the five major areas: (births, deaths, marriages, divorces, and fetal deaths.) and define what they actually measure and in your own words discuss why you think the data in each area are important and the role of public health. (Remember, public health plays a role in research, policy development, program development, and measures healthcare quality and patient safety).

Be sure to address all five areas individually and what health consequences/benefits you have found that go with each: births, deaths, marriages, divorces, and fetal deaths.

Make sure to cite and reference any sources you use.
