It can increase motivation and productivity because it shows your ambition. Moreover, setting goals can create healthier habits for oneself. For instance, if I set a goal to raise my grades this semester, I will partake in certain steps that will help me reach it. Not only will I be satisfied with my goal being met, but I will have also made life changes that helped me get there.
