Explain how someone can have a sense of belonging wow remain independent

You can be independent and not have to shut everyone else out. Having discipline and being mentally mature but not making stupid decisions is a total plus if someone plans to do this. The people around you will see you as a different (not in a bad way at all), more mature person and may catch on.
