Research and compare four different places in your community where you can exercise or participate in sports. You might need to pick up brochures, visit different facilities, search online, or contact a facility by phone. If you don’t have a commercial fitness center nearby, you can choose a center that you find online. Two of the places must belong to this group: community center, private gym, health club, or fitness center. The other two places will be your home and your school. Write everything you learn about each location in the table below. The first column shows parameters that might be important to you when choosing a facility. You will not need to fill in all the cells in each table, especially for your home and your school, but be as thorough as possible.
