depends on your flow. dont leave it in for too long if it is too light, and also don't leave it in for too long if its heavy. id say change it every 4-5 hours. honestly, you have to change it based on what makes you comfortable. in my opinion, pads are much safer (even though they are kinda gross) because tampons are known to cause health problems.
