Gently lay her friend down on the floor, I think,  should be the next thing you do.

It would just be adding to the problem if you call the paramedics and she's fallen down and possibly injured herself even more than can be expected from convulsing. Holding someone down while the are experiencing a seizure is a BIG no.  You just have to let them do their thing, and let it pass. And obviously you wouldn't put something in their mouth. You would risk them choking. Hopefully this answer suffices!
