Explanation: if you don't have respect for yourself means that you are not aware of your value and you let anyone do whatever they want with you.  You don't recognize how important you are and you don't put limits on your life. When you are not able to do that with yourself you can't do it with others because in the first place you never learned how to do it with yourself.

The respect starts always with yourself, you learned it with every situation that happens to you and if you don't start respecting yourself is going to be hard that you respect others. Every action starts with yourself.
