-changing schools,
-moving house
- leaving the parental home,
-parental divorce,
- bereavement,
-unintentional weight gain.
- mockery and unpleasant remarks of the entourage
- reading articles (press, internet) or the vision of television reports on the benefits of thinness, of a particular scheme, the harms of being overweight,
- seeking identification to a known model (actress, model, singer, etc.) or a more theoretical feminine ideal,
-initiation to the plan by a friend or a relative, sometimes at the request of a doctor.

Making sure the equipment is cleaned daily and insuring proper hygiene is kept up with the working staff.
