An emotional reaction/response is under the spectra of emotions, and is usually influenced by outside factors. These factors could be people, scenarios with which you are presented, or simply just things. An example of this could be a student stressing and straining over a test the following day and studying for hours on end. An emotional reaction to that could be to cry or react irritably towards others.
