Why do people find it hard to get over someone they like

Because emotions are extremely strong, one of the strongest emotions is love, it depends on how much they love them. If it is a strong love it may take longer, if it is a mild love for a person, like the love of a family member or family friend it will become easier to get over the person if they thought of them that way.

When you like somebody, your brain produce a substance called dopamine,which make you feel good with him or her.
