A person attempting to leap a 4 foot gate catches one foot and falls hard on the other side. They appear to be unable to get up. The person says their left leg and arm both hurt. When you check, you find that they are unable to more their leg, which is beginning to swell. 1. the person is paralyzed . this is the inability—whether temporary or permanent—to move a part of the body. In almost all cases, paralysis is due to nerve damage, not to an injury to the affected region. For instance, an injury in the middle or lower regions of the spinal cord is likely to disrupt function below the injury.  but incomplete paralysis is what this patient most likely has( incomplete paralysis is when you still have some feeling in, and possibly control over, your paralyzed muscles.
