When I was at the store yesterday everyone had masks and gloves on. Why would this be? I was the only one with out any mask or gloves. Why did I see this at the place like Costco?

People are afraid of catching and spreading the corona virus.

When I go to Walmart (don't have Costco where I live) there are some people who have masks and gloves on, so do the workers!

Since the virus is spread through hand to mouth contact, most people wear the masks to keep their hands from touching their face, and gloves to help keep the spread of the virus low. A lot of people also wear the mask so that they don't cough on others and get them sick!
