LEDs come in a range of color temperatures. But for health reasons, the American Medical Associaton-the largest assocation of doctors in the U. S.-recommends limiting LEDs to 3,000K. Why might that be?

LEDs up to 3,000k are considered to be safest. LEDs more than that can have harmful impacts on our health. LEDs less than 3,000 or up to that are beneficial in two ways.

But LEDs more than that are really bad, they create a harsh glare and makes it difficult for us to see. There are many health risks also like it disturbs our sleep.

These lights badly affect our environment and various species in it. So it is safest to use LEDs up to 3,000k, not more than that due to risks associated.
