im trying to convince my uncle to stop drinking but he wont listen, it is ruining his body, and i dont want him to get worse, what do i do

Usually as a child the most you can do is nothing. Sorry to be a buzzkill but elderly people have a SUPER hard time with change.  Going cold turkey is also not recommended because your body soon relies on the alcohol and sudden withdrawal could have negative effects. The only thing i could recommend is limiting his alcohol. such as only taking little by little away from him. But ask your parents. If they don't have a problem with it, then i'm sorry your uncle will might die from a bad liver. But don't worry. This usually happens in a 20-30 year period.
