You just finished your program in Healthcare Administration and decided to pursue a career in hospital management. You cannot decide what type of hospital you would like to apply to. So, you decide to investigate the different types of hospitals that are available.

we have basically have five different types of hospitals and they include;

1.Trauma centers

2. Rehabilitation hospitals

3.Children's hospitals

4.Geriatric hospitals

5.Psychiatric hospitals.

Explanation:

1. Trauma Centers:These are center's or otherwise known as a hospital equipped and staffed to provide care for patients suffering from major traumatic injuries such as falls or motor vehicle collisions e.t.c

2. Rehabilitation hospitals:these are hospitals that is meant for people who need to improve their independence and strength following illness, accident or surgery.

3.Children's hospitals: this is a hospital that cater for children's health cases.

4.Geriatric hospitals: otherwise known as medical gerontology.this is a special hospital that focuses on health care of elderly people. It aims to promote health by preventing and treating diseases and disabilities in older adults.

5.Psychiatric hospitals: this is a hospital that deals with mental disorder.
