It is more common for physician specialists to be distributed in the urban areas than in the rural areas because majority of the population are living in the cities. These cities are also attractive for doctors because they are more accessible and it gives them the comfort of working.

In order to shift the excess of specialists in the urban areas to the rural areas, it is best to raise the salary of specialists in the non-urban places. Salary is one attractive factor that is being considered by many workers. If the salary of workers (specialists) is higher then, surely, many of them will rush to the rural areas.

Creating more medical clinics and hospitals in the rural area is also one option. If this happens, there will be more places for the doctors, nurses and other medical professionals to work in.
