While watching Saturday morning cartoons, Justine’s daughter Claire saw a commercial for a high-fat, high-sugar toaster pastry marketed to children. At the grocery store, Claire sees the product and begs her mom to buy it. Justine is appalled to see one pastry has 300 kilocalories, 10 grams of fat, and 6 grams of saturated fat. Although the pastry has 3 grams of dietary fiber, Justine notices it does not state "good source of fiber" on the front of the packaging like some other foods with 3 grams of fiber. Why can’t this food be called a "good source" of fiber?

The roughage or fiber is important part of the diet as it improves the digestion and  lowers the heart related disease. Two main two types of fiber are insoluble fiber and soluble fiber.

The pastry is not a good source of fiber as it contains around 4 gm of saturated fat. The amount of fat ( 13 gm), cholesterol ( 60 milligram) and sodium is more than the prescribed values for the individuals diet. The amount of fiber also depends on the other food ingredients as well.  

my hamster died and my second hamster i got after that one died as well. i also lost two birds named rainbow and kiwi, (they didn't die, they flew off and escaped). i lost a cat named omi, and a dog named snoopie. the best way i got over it is, paying my respects, and just thinking that they were in a happy place. as well as just remembering but not thinking about it all the time, just do fun activities and try not to think about it too much. hope you feel better. i'm sorry about your loss. : (
