Based on maslow's hierarchy of needs, explain why someone who is financially stable is more likely to be focused on social experiences than someone who does not have enough money to buy his or her next meal.

According to Maslow, a person will be motivated to satisfy a need that has not been satiated or fulfilled yet. In this case, the person who does not have enough money to buy will be motivated to satisfy his physiological needs (i.e. food) but will not be motivated YET to satisfy his belonging needs (i.e. social experiences). Once he becomes financially stable, that's the time he'll be motivated to satisfy belonging needs. 

Note that Maslow's hierarchy of needs start from the lowest which is:
physiological
safety
love/belongingness
self-esteem
self-actualization
