Gender, race and other hereditary issues.

Explanation:

Being of a particular race or gender may increase your chance of having a specific health issue.  For instance, race plays an significant role -- if you are black, you have a greater risk of developing sickle cell anemia and high blood pressure or, if you are Asian, you have a greater risk of developing Tay Sachs Disease.  

With regard to gender, Klinefelter's syndrome impacts only males and Rett syndrome affects only females.

If you are born with a congenital health issue, you'd have no control over that either. A congenital health issue is one that is present at birth. For instance, having an extra X chromosome results in Downs Syndrome and would be present at birth.

As you age, you become more susceptible to some health issues that might be outside of your control.  Among these are Alzheimer's and arthritis.

exposure to hazardous carcinogens and toxic substances can cause breathing problems, such as copd and various types of cancer. it also increases the risk of heart attacks and strokes and has serious (but no less unattractive) side effects, such as aging, yellow teeth, a terrible smell and damage to the vocal cords.
