There are many benefits in accepting the differences of a person. When you accept the differences of someone let's say if they come from a different state you can get to know about the place they came from and even though you haven't gone there yourself. You can get to know their traditions and the way they do stuff from where they're from. If it's about looks then maybe they have some differences from you but they usually also have something you'd like for yourself to have.
