I do not think that divorce is always harmful to children. In some cases it might be best to get a divorce from a person. for instance if that person is abusive to you or harmful in any way then leaving them would be the best choice, and the children can be in a safe environment. Also If the parents are always arguing or if they no longer like each other, and always argue. Then it is better to leave and spare the kids from seeing the parents argue and fight. In some cases one of the adults might not have the funds needed to help the kids anymore it might be best to leave them. Or if one of the adults is a deadbeat it is not a good influence on a child ten it is best to leave the person.
