If there is a badly written note given to a patient this would deliver a bad impression to the patient as he or she may lose trust as he or she feels that the hospital does not care if he or she can understand what message they are trying to deliver. the word of choice is vital in delivering news to patient since as humans, people would like to hear positive words for encouragement. for instance, even in delivering bad news we first need to speak empathetic words such as everything is going to be fine. this would give a feeling of ease as the person receives the message. as a medical assistant, it is important to convey right and kind words for proper communication. for example, asking the client if the message is clear and if they do have further clarification. on the other hand, for the doctors one can ask them if the note provided is unclear before giving it to the patient. read more on -
