I think teens are most concerned about body composition. Teens struggle with their body image and confidence. A lot of this has to do with body composition, the proportions of fat is one's body. If a teen thinks they have an abnormal percentage of fat, it could cause them to do extreme things to fix it such as not eating which can lead to serious problems like anorexia.

I think most teens aren't as concerned about cardiovascular endurance. Teens aren't often thinking about their ability for their heart, lungs and blood vessels to deliver oxygen to their body tissues. Most teens probably don't even know what cardiovascular endurance means, let alone are concerned about how to improve theirs.

Students are taught from a young age that eating healthy is important for our bodies to be strong and function well. Although these students aren't necessarily taught how to put this into practice.  Schools could encourage healthy eating by having a nutritionist come into the class to speak about healthy eating, or have an assignment to keep a food log for a week and have them write about how they could improve their eating by referring to their food log.
