Ahospice worker is attending to a patient who is dying at home with a terminal illness and who has a dnr advance directive. however, the patient changes their mind and tells the worker that he now wants everything possible done to prolong his life. the hospice worker fails to inform the family or physicians about what the patient has said. what are the ethical implications? what are the potential legal implications? would personal liability insurance cover any damages as a result of this situation?

Ethically it is wrong beacuse your supposed to always listen to your patient but there are way more legall issues she need to write it out and tell the family beacuse if the family found out after he died there could be some serious suing

for me i would

1.   break up the project into simpler tasks

2. prioritize the tasks

3. create an action plan

4. create a schedule

5. delegate work

this would be logical sequence, because:

1.   i need to know what the simple tasks are

2. i need to know which ones need to be done in order of importance

3. make a plan to get everything done in the correct order

4. set up the times and days for completion

5. hand out tasks to other to get it all done.
