What does it mean to say a consumer was abused

Well if ur on about a consumer in a food chain or food web it’s the animal or thing that eats the producer -for example: lettuce(producer) is eaten by the slug(consumer). So if u say that the consumer is abused it may mean that the thing that eats the producer has been harmed

To check their medical records to see if they have had chicken pox before, if they haven’t, monitor their temperature, drink plenty of fluids, and stay away from small children and those who haven’t been exposed to chicken pox during the incubation period.
