So many people or individual may be afraid of rendering help to others such as accident victims or a sick person because they may be accused or sue for what they did not do.

Example in a situation were an accident victims died before treatment or in a situation were the victims were given wrong treatment the person who render the assistant may be sue.

Which is why good samaritan law come into action because with good samaritan law people can hesitate to render help or assist people in need instead of ignoring them as the law help to protect the right of people who assist when they are accuse of wrongdoing.
