What is "theatrical dance" and how did it originate

The theatrical dance is nothing more and nothing less than what we know today as Ballet.

Its origins begin from approximately 1607, when the Spaniards arrived in the lands of South America to conquer them and there they used these methods of theatrical performance that included a harmonious dance and music whose objective was to evangelize the people who were in those land.

These customs were implemented and thus, during the first part of the nineteenth century the same practices began to emerge in a professional manner.
